The total costs involved are the upfront fee and the weekly subscription. This covers all running costs including registration, comprehensive insurance, roadside assistance and general servicing and maintenance.

You will just need to pay for tolls and fuel.

An insurance excess may be payable as an out-of-pocket cost when making a claim with Carbar's insurer.

When you browse our cars, you will see that each vehicle has a weekly subscription fee and an upfront fee.

The upfront fee covers the costs of procuring the vehicle, cleaning and detailing, comprehensive service and safety checks as well as setting the vehicle up to deliver on our subscription service. It varies for each car depending on the year, make and model selected.

It is non-refundable (unless required by Australian Consumer Law). If your subscription application is not approved, your upfront fee will be refunded in full.

Our current waiting period for delivery is 2-3 weeks for new orders.

There are continued demand and supply constraints in the used car market, which may affect delivery times.

We will always do our best to move the order through as quickly as possible and will advise if the delivery date can be brought forward.

No, we do not perform credit checks.

Our application process requires bank statements from the last 90 days to perform an affordability assessment. The statements need to show transactions that include a consistent source of income and all regular expenses (rent, loan repayments etc.).

You may include statements from multiple accounts to support your application.

If you are not approved, this does not affect your credit rating.

Unfortunately, test drives are not available.

Our inventory includes vehicles from our nationwide dealer partners across all states and territories. The vehicle you want are not always located at our Carbar offices.

However, rest assured that we conduct thorough safety and quality inspections before delivery.
