In the event that your car has been affected by a vehicle recall, you will be notified through email about the next steps.
Each event is different and the manufacturer's responses vary depending on a number of factors.
A vehicle recall may be announced in the media or Carbar (as owners of the vehicles) are notified via postal mail of the affected vehicles by VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).
Carbar then gets in touch with you to advise of the next steps and any safety precautions that you may need to take.
We are then in constant contact with the service centres to understand parts availability and next available appointments. Once we are able to book your vehicle for an appointment, we will coordinate with you for a suitable time.
